The new fully automatic facility is designed to recycle up to 300 MW of solar panels per year, equivalent to more than 500,000 end-of-life modules (approximately 13,500 tonnes of material). With a processing speed of >60 panels per hour, the plant will enable scientific, safe, and environmentally sound management of solar waste while recovering critical materials such as copper, silicon, silver, and as well aluminium and glass — reducing dependence on raw material resources and promoting sustainable material reuse.

This milestone delivery highlights Ecoprogetti’s commitment to innovative recycling solutions and strengthens its footprint in the Indian market, where demand for responsible end-of-life solar solutions continues to grow alongside rapid renewable capacity expansion.
